This was my second week skiing, again as part of school trip. Although staying in the small resort of Valtournenche, we actually skied the Cervinia ski area. We got to the slopes via a stand up open lift, particularly shaking for a 17 year old who has drunk too much grappa the night before :-/
There was no snow down in the resort itself, but up top the snow was pretty decent. Plenty to ski and towards the end of the week we skiing reds and racing down blues.
As it was a school trip I can really comment much... after all it was 11 years ago! |
