Sambevinski Visited: March 2004   Flaine the resort that won a architectural prize, it must have been in the 60's because i think it is one of the most unattractive resort i have been to. I stayed in Les Carroz, much more attractive but not many bars to retreat to in the evening. The skiing itself is very good for all levels as it is the place i learned to ski i felt that there were many slopes for beginners to really get going. The advanced / off-piste skiing might be there but is not massively accessible. It would be a grate place for large groups with different abilities as the skiing area is massive. On the whole a very enjoyable week had by all of the group. good conditions poor apres-ski reasonable prices good overall
