A low resort so the snow is not always great. However the largest cable car in europe you've got access to La Plagne within about 10 minutes. Your ski pass also give you access to Val D'Isere. Val is about an hour on the bus; situated at about 300m metres Val offer a suberb day out with guarenteed snow conditions.
The village of Les Arcs is overrun by new builds so don't expect the idealic frnech village. It however does have a number of great restaurants.
