admin Visited: February 2010   Snow and weather was perfect when we spent our day in the Morzine/Les Gets sector of the Portes du Soleil. We spent most of our time on piste cruising around the flatteringly marked runs. Most reds were barely tricky blues, but that could have been as a result of the conditions. Although we didn't venture into the town itself, it does look pretty from the slopes and when you pass through onto Morzine. We had lunch at one of the higher restaurants which was pretty steep - about €14 for a burger and chips. Obviously didn't experience the apres-ski so haven't rated it. I would say Les Gets would be a perfect option for families, as I think anyone with more than a week or so skiing under their belt might find it a bit dull. However, you can also head over to the rest of the PdS. excellent conditions unknown apres-ski expensive prices good overall
