It made an agreeable change to be in a town setting but it meant catching the ski bus every day. The skiing was limited but ok for me as a beginner/poor intermediate. The ski bus also accessed another nearby resort which had good skiing but I forget its name. We also visited the Zugspitz glacier whcih was not too far a drive into Germany. Only found photos of Zugspitze
