finnryan Visited: March 2007   Val D’Isere offers some great skiing and snowboarding. There are loads of slopes to explore, and it’s easy to ski to Tignes. The resort is at high altitude so snow conditions are good, and some of the views are amazing. The night life in Val D’Isere is pretty good. The only down side to Val D’Isere is that it’s quite expensive, but not dramatically more expensive than other French resorts. very good conditions very good apres-ski expensive prices very good overall

Baz Visited: March 2007   The snow was good even in March. Think we were a bit lucky cos it was getting slushy towards the end. Some of us were pretty much beginners, some of us were better (or thought they were) but seemed to cater for all. And Pete liked the big lunches up the mountain. The mad yo bar halfway down the mountain is amazing and the lady who sings on the roof is strangely alluring. very good conditions excellent apres-ski expensive prices excellent overall

scobb7 Visited: March 2007   Make sure you stop off at LA FOLIE DOUCE aka Bonkers Bar in the afternoon. It's amazing. It's also funny watching everyone try and ski back to the resort after a few beers!!! very good conditions excellent apres-ski reasonable prices excellent overall
