This was my second school trip, and we were right on the outskirts of Valtournenche. The skiing was good, accessed via a stand up lift so you couldn't ski back to the resort (no when we went anyway, despite what the piste map suggests). Apres-ski was centered around the hotels, but this was okay. There was also an ice rink in the resort which was a nice touch in the evening. We had a night trip to a bar/club in Cervinia which was your expected Euro fluff. |
